NLCRPD responded to Sheetz located at  1205 Lancaster Road, Manheim for the report of a female passed out in her vehicle in the parking lot.

On scene, police observed a silver Nissan sedan parked on the south side of the business with the front of the vehicle facing the building. The sole occupant appeared to be slumped over the center console of the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle and sole occupant was identified as Alisha Dawn HICKEY of Pottstown, PA.

Officers observed that HICKEY showed signs of impairment due to drugs and or alcohol.  A series of field sobriety tests were conducted. Officers concluded that HICKEY was under the influence of a controlled substance to degree that she was unable to operate a vehicle safely. HICKEY was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI, evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert, and transported to the hospital for a blood test.   

HICKEY was also found to be a wanted person in Bucks County. HICKEY was later transported and released into the custody of Lancaster County Prison as a result of the outstanding warrant.

Results of the blood test indicated that HICKEY was under the influence of Methamphetamine at the time of the arrest.  

A criminal complaint has been filed against HICKEY for DUI and associated charges.
