On August 13, 2021 @ 1841 hours NLCRPD responded to the 200 block of White Oak Road for the report of a traffic accident that had occurred. On scene Officers found that a black GMC SUV, operated by an Everett HUF of Manheim, PA, had struck a school zone sign, exited the roadway, and became disabled in a ditch. HUF was believed to be under the influence of alcohol and or drugs at the time of the accident. HUF was transported to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment. He refused to submit to a breath test as requested by the officers.  Charges for DUI and traffic infraction(s) related to the crash have been filed as a result of the investigation.
