The NLCRPD wishes to thank all of those residents of the NLCRPD primary jurisdiction and beyond who dropped off their unwanted drugs at the GIANT STORE – Warwick Township. The volume of the drugs collected illustrates the success of the program.

The NLCRPD Patrol officer assigned to the detail remarked “how great and thankful the public were to deal with and have a positive interaction with law enforcement at the drop off location” . As a result of the efforts of the public there was a collection of over five large sized collection boxes, each filled to capacity with unwanted prescription drugs.

As a result of the outstanding efforts of the public, these unwanted, expired, or otherwise unused prescriptions were kept out of the hands of unauthorized users, and eliminated the environmental impacts of improper disposal to the water supply.
