The NLCRPD completed the reporting of an event in East Petersburg regarding a disturbance. On Thursday, July 16, 2020 at approximately 22:45 hours, NLCRPD was dispatched to the Turkey Hill Store located at 5959 Main St in East Petersburg regarding two customers of the Turkey Hill, verbally arguing over wearing a protective mask. NLCRPD patrols contact with the reporting person who called police because another customer of the store was inside without a mask. She confronted the male, in the store. He remained on scene and waited by his vehicle until NLCRPD arrived. Reporting party is not an employee of the Turkey Hill. The subject stated he ran in the store really quick and didn't have his mask on. He felt the reporting party over reacted. The two only had a short verbal argument on the matter. The subject then volunteered to put his mask on and continued his shopping inside the store without incident. Nothing further to report.
