On January 22, 2026, the Ephrata Police Department Investigations Section filed juvenile allegations for Theft by Unlawful Taking (F3) against three minors for stealing a car from Fisher’s Garage in Reinholds, PA.  The police investigation began when the business owner reported a Hyundai Elantra stolen on the morning of July 31, 2025. The vehicle was recovered later in the day, abandoned in the State Game Lands parking lot, along North Blainsport Road in Reinholds.  The Hyundai’s ignition and steering column was disassembled.  The assigned investigator was ultimately able to identify the juveniles with the assistance of the Lancaster County Juvenile Probation Office and Snapchat videos that showed them driving and having conversations in the stolen car. Furthermore, at least one minor admitted to stealing the Hyundai from Fisher's Garage during a police interview. 

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
