Ephrata Police are attempting to identify the suspect in a theft case.  A resident of Ephrata Borough reported that on the evening of November 27, 2020 a package was stolen from his front porch.  The porch pirate is described as a white male, wearing a dark colored long coat and a light-colored drawstring bag.  He was carrying a skateboard.  Click HERE to watch a video of the crime.  If you have information on the identity of the male, please contact Officer King at 717-738-9200 X 265 or leave an anonymous tip by clicking the ‘submit a tip’ button.

The holiday season is typically the prime season for porch pirating.  If you will not be home to receive your package, consider using an alternate destination, a trusted neighbor or a friend, or leave specific delivery instructions to drop the package at a more obscure location at your residence.
