In June of 2025, based on an anonymous tip, the Ephrata Police Department initiated an investigation into suspected prostitution/human trafficking activity at the ABC Rose Spa located at 107 W. Main Street in Ephrata Borough. Investigation revealed that female workers were believed to be providing sexual services for pay. On Tuesday, 7/29/2025, Ephrata Police, assisted by the Lancaster County Human Trafficking Task Force, Pennsylvania State Police, and ZOE International, executed a search warrant at ABC Rose Spa.
