On November 5, 2015 at 6:54 p.m. Ephrata Police Department responded to a pedestrian struck at the intersection of West Main Street and North Church Street, Ephrata Borough.  A SUV, driven by Esther Grumbling,62, of Ephrata, struck Richard Richards, Jr., 50, of Ephrata, who was walking in a crosswalk to cross the street.  Richards was transported to Lancaster General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
