Ephrata Police are investigating a hit and run accident which occurred on 4-16-2020 at approximately 4:20pm.

The accident occurred at the intersection of South Cocalico Road and Furnace Hill Road, West Cocalico Township as the victim was north bound on S. Cocalico Rd.

A 2002 Hyundai Sonata sedan pulled out from Furnace Hills Road and struck the rear and driver's side of the victim's lime green vehicle as she was traveling through the intersection. The Hyundai vehicle driven by possibly by a W/F 20-30yrs of age turned around and fled back onto Furnace Hills Road. Victim was not injured. Suspect vehicle may have damage to the passenger side front corner and turn signal area. Vehicle is missing a portion of the front passenger turn signal trim. (photograph)
