Ephrata Police were called to WalMart in Ephrata Township on March 7, 2022.  WalMart staff reported that two men had come into the store and represented fraudulent $100 bills as real.  One of the men "purchased" two computers with the fake cash.  The other attempted to purchase air pods with out it, but was foiled by an alert cashier.  Both men left the property together.  Total loss was $1000.00.  The bills are in police custody.
