Ephrata Police concluded a Fireworks investigation on 9-28-19 and filed a summary citation against Roberto Ramirez, 52, of Ephrata.    

Ephrata Police on Wednesday 9-25-19 around 7:30pm, were called to the 100 block of East Locust Street for several complains of firework explosions over the Ephrata Fair, Fair parade watchers and its participants.  The subsequent police investigation, with the assistance of citizens, determined the location of where the fireworks were set off as well as a suspect.   

Ramirez was cited with Disorderly Conduct for setting off the fireworks within 150 feet of two occupied apartment buildings and causing panic as the fireworks exploded over top the parade watchers and participants.
