The water pipe has been repaired and water is slowly coming back on. The roadway will be opened once the hole is back filled.

Crews are on scene and working on a repair at this time. The 800 blk. of Lancaster Ave. (Rt. 462) is being closed completely to protect the workers and responders on scene. Numerous vehicles are failing to slow down and follow directions of fire police on scene. Please be cautious driving and pay attention to where you are going, fire police and the water company employees are here and not getting to enjoy their day off. 

Please do not call asking for estimates on when this will be completed, about your water pressure or about your water being brown or dirty. We have no control over that and the water company employees are here on scene working to get it completed as fast as they can. 

There appears to be a water main break in the 800 blk. of Lancaster Ave. The water company has been notified and we expect the east bound lane of Rt. 462 in this block to be at least partially closed off for some of the morning. People throughout town are experiencing low water pressure.
