On 6/18/21 at approximately 3:50pm the Columbia Borough Police Department was notified that an AK-47 Assault Rifle had been stolen from the trunk of a vehicle which was parked in the area of North 2nd Street and Bank Avenue in Columbia, PA.  The owner of the gun stated that it was stolen from the trunk of his 2003 Chevrolet Impala bearing PA Reg of LME-6122 within the past 2-3 months and that he realized it was missing around June 5, 2021.  The approximate value of the missing rifle is $1,299.90.  Anyone with information regarding this theft is encouraged to contact the Columbia Borough Police Department at 717-684-7735 or by texting LANCS to 847411.
