Police Activity Blotter 2/22/26 - 2/28/26

2/22/26, at 3:56 AM, Officers were requested to contact PSP Avondale regarding a subject they had taken into custody. (KS-26-001812). Troopers advised that, during the search of the vehicle, they located a purse containing several credit cards belonging to a Borough resident.

2/22/26, at 9:12 AM, Officers were dispatched for a phone assignment of an individual who had their groceries delivered to our old station by mistake. (KS-26-001817). Officers retrieved the order and delivered it to the correct address.

2/22/26, at 5:09 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Race Street for a parking complaint of vehicles parked in a private lot. (KS-26-001821). The reporting party was advised that if they needed the vehicles removed, they would need to contact a tow company.

2/23/26, at 10:32 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of E. Maple Street for a toddler locked inside a house by herself. (KS-26-001832). The child was observed calmly watching TV and did not appear to be in immediate danger. Fire personnel were able to make entry to the residence with minimal damage.

2/23/26, at 11:30 AM, Officers were dispatched for a call regarding leaving a vehicle that was stuck in the snow in Anson B. Nixon’s parking lot. (KS-26-001834). Officers arrived on scene and successfully got the vehicle unstuck, and the family was able to leave without issue. 

2/24/26, at 9:00 AM, Officers were dispatched to a report of inappropriate comments by a male juvenile towards a female juvenile. (KS-26-001875). This incident is pending further investigation to determine whether criminal charges are suitable.

2/24/26, at 1:00 PM, it was mandated that residents and property owners clear snow from their sidewalks. (KS-26-001881). One non-traffic citation was issued to a property that received a warning after the previous snowstorm.

2/24/26, at 11:10 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of Meadow Creek Lane for a domestic disturbance. (KS-26-001897). After speaking with all subjects involved, no charges were filed in accordance with their requests.

2/24/26, at 4:46 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Magnolia Street for snow removal complaints. (KS-26-001880). Contact was made with the homeowners, who advised that they would remedy the situation.

2/24/26, at 4:56 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 400 Block of Chestnut Street regarding a trailer parked on the street. (KS-26-001882). A parking ticket was issued.

2/25/26, at 10:30 AM, Officers marked a vehicle abandoned in the 500 Block of Center Street for having an expired registration, expired emissions, and an expired inspection. (KS-26-001914).

2/25/26, at 3:45 PM, Officers marked a vehicle abandoned in the 500 Block of Center Street for having an expired registration, expired emissions, and an expired inspection. (KS-26-001921).

2/26/26, at 1:08 AM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Las Rosas Drive for a physical domestic between two family members. (KS-26-001934). Subsequently, one subject was taken into custody and transported to Chester County Prison.

2/26/26, at 5:52 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 800 Block of S. Walnut Street for a vehicle parked facing the wrong direction. (KS-26-001952). A parking ticket was issued for the violation.

2/26/26, at 9:34 PM, Officers were dispatched to S. Broad Street and E. Cypress Street for a parking complaint about a vehicle blocking traffic. (KS-26-001961). Upon arrival, the vehicle was not blocking traffic and had already received a parking ticket for being too close to a crosswalk. 

2/27/26, at 3:35 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of W. Cypress Street for the reporting party’s sister being on the property when she was not home. (KS-26-001985). The reporting party asked police to advise her sister that she is not allowed there and will be charged with criminal trespass in the future.

2/27/26, at 7:04 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Center Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. (KS-26-001990). The reporting party advised that their ex had arrived at their residence intoxicated, and they began arguing before he left. Officers searched the area with negative results.

2/28/26, at 12:40 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of Meadow Creek Lane for a domestic disturbance. (KS-26-002006). Upon further investigation, nothing physical occurred, and Officers assisted in remedying the situation.

2/28/26, at 2:18 PM and 2:52 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of Birch Street for a verbal argument between male roommates. (KS-26-002011). The building manager arrived and was advised that the two subjects should be separated and no longer live together. 

2/28/26, at 4:34 PM, Officers were dispatched for a suspicious condition of a male subject who stole a crosswalk sign from the intersection of S. Union Street and Mulberry Street. (KS-26-002018). Officers are attempting to identify the subject.

2/28/26, at 8:50 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of Birch Street for an assault that had occurred earlier in the day. (KS-26-002028). This incident is pending further investigation.

2/28/26, at 10:32 PM, Officers conducted a traffic stop in Anson B. Nixon Park on a vehicle with a nonfunctioning headlight. (KS-26-002030). After the driver of the vehicle had given Officers consent to search the vehicle, a small amount of marijuana was located. A non-traffic citation was issued for disorderly conduct.

2/28/26, at 11:40 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 200 Block of E. State Street for a hit-and-run accident involving a Jeep Wrangler that struck multiple vehicles and fled toward Elm Street. (KS-26-002034). This investigation is ongoing to identify the vehicle's operator.

2/25/26, at 4:28 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on Penn Avenue. (KS-26-001923).

2/26/26, at 1:35 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on W. State Street. (KS-26-001945).

2/27/26, at 7:54 AM, a vehicle accident occurred on E. Linden Street. (KS-26-001971).

2/27/26, at 10:18 AM, a vehicle accident occurred on W. Cypress Street. (KS-26-001975).

2/28/26 at 1:07 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on S. Union Street. (KS-26-002007).

2/28/26, at 4:48 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on E. State Street. (KS-26-002019).

2/28/26, at 7:14 PM, a vehicle accident occurred on S. Walnut Street. (KS-26-002026).

150 Parking Tickets were issued.
