On February 28, 2022, the New Britain Township Police Department swore in Officer Daniel Sacks as the newest member of the department.

Dan was administered the oath of office by Township Board of Supervisors Vice-Chair William Jones as his mother Patricia held the bible. Dan is a native of Media, Delaware County. He attended the University of Millersville where he developed an interest in law enforcement and after graduating in 2013 with a degree in history, he started his career with the Philadelphia Police Department. After serving for eight years in different regions of the city, he was drawn to the area of Bucks County for its physical beauty and law enforcement professionalism. He looks forward to serving the New Britain Township Community and its visitors. In his free time Dan enjoys reading, lifting weights, visiting historical landmarks, and spending time with his son.
