Our department is a participating agency in the Bucks County Major Incident

Response Team (MIRT). This response team is a county-wide, multi-agency unit comprised of officers from all Bucks County departments. The officers of this unit are specially trained to deal with large-scale situations, including but not limited to, natural disasters, dignitary protection and crowd/riot control. Upon request by an agency, the unit can deploy 100 officers at short notice.
