Welcome! Please review these rules for interacting with this page, maintained by the County of Bucks and/or the Office of the District Attorney ("County/Office").

1. Presumption of Innocence:

  • Remember, all persons mentioned here are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
  • An arrest is not proof or an admission of guilt.

2. Content Rules & Moderation:

  • Your posts must be respectful and lawful. We may hide or delete comments, and ban repeat offenders, for posting content that:
    • Contains ethnic slurs, profanity, or is sexually explicit.
    • Is harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or discriminatory.
    • Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading.
    • Promotes illegal activity or is obscene.
    • Infringes on copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
    • Is otherwise offensive, graphically or in tone.

3. Your Posts, Privacy & Public Records:

  • New and Recent Posts: Following a significant rise in comments that violate our community guidelines, we have discontinued the use of comments and automated moderation tools powered by AI for new and recent posts.  Until we can ensure that our channels are not facilitating harassment, defamation, abuse, threats, discrimination or obscenity, new and recent posts will only allow users to react to and share content. 
  • No Privacy: You have no expectation of privacy or confidentiality for anything you post here. The County/Office is not responsible for maintaining privacy on this platform.
  • Retention: We may keep copies of your posts as required by law or policy.
  • Public Records: All posts may be subject to disclosure under the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Act, other public records laws, and legal discovery. This can include information accessible through your own privacy settings on linked accounts.

4. Platform Disclaimer:

  • This social media site is operated by a third party, not the County/Office. You must follow the platform's own terms of use and privacy policies. The County/Office is not responsible for the platform's data collection (like cookies).
