SCHOOL CROSSING GUARDS

The Saugerties Police Department is seeking qualified individuals for the position of School Crossing Guard. Applicants must be 18 and older and possess a valid driver’s license. The job consists of monitoring vehicle and pedestrian traffic to allow school aged children to cross the road safely. Afternoon and morning hours to follow the Saugerties School calendar. Equipment and training will be provided by the Police Department. Crossing Guards paid on a weekly basis. Transportation to locations provided by employee. An Ulster County Civil Service application is required to be completed, as well as a brief background investigation.
