CONSTRUCTION SLATED TO BEGIN ON PARTITION STREET

Replacement of Gas Lines in the Village of Saugerties is slated to begin on Partition Street on Tuesday May 31, 2022 .In order to accommodate adequate traffic flow during this period of infrastructure replacement, both Jane street and Russel Street, will temporarily convert to two-way traffic while work is being performed; there  will be no parking permitted on either side of Jane Street. Parking will be available in both of the Village’s municipal lots.   The municipal lot off Partition Street will be accessible from Russel Street.

The work to be completed, will take place during the day and the roads will be fully open at night. The work is scheduled to begin at the corner of  Main street  and Partition Street. Replacement of gas lines will continue down to Russel Street. This undoubtedly will be a bit of an inconvenience for motorist so please, if this is your normal route of travel, use alternate routes or provide yourself with ample time to get to your destination without having to rush during this phase of construction.  

The entire project should take between 5-10 days on Partition street. Please be patient with, and cognizant of the workers on the street.
