The Saugerties Police Department would like to remind all residents of the following local laws as it pertains to parking in both the Village and Town of Saugerties.

Under Village Local Law § 191-1 NIGHT PARKING DECEMBER 15^TH – MARCH 15^TH

          The Parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on all highways within the Village of Saugerties between the hours of 3:00am and 7:00am Beginning December 15^th each year through March 15^th of the Following Year.

Under Town Local Law § 232-9 NIGHT PARKING NOVEMBER 15^TH – APRIL 15^TH

The Parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on all County and Town Highways within the Town of Saugerties between the hours of 3:00am and 7:00am from the 15^th day of December to the 15^th day of April.

These restrictions are in place to better facilitate the removal of snow by our local DPW crews. The failure to abide by the above local laws could result in the citing of your vehicle and tow removal from the street. Your anticipated understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated.
