The DeLand Police Department would like to wish everyone a safe and relaxing 4^th of July. As a reminder the City of DeLand ordinances and Florida State law prohibits the use of fireworks without a permit. Remember fireworks can cause issues for our veterans with PTSD. Some of our pets are terrified of the loud noises that fireworks make too. Have a safe holiday.
