On Friday, May 6th, 2022 (2) recruits from the Craig Police Department graduated from Colorado Mountain College – Glenwood. The recruits completed a vigorous training program and will soon take their place in the ranks of the Craig Police Department.

Two additional recruits are scheduled to graduate June 3rd, 2022 from Flatrock Regional Training Center in Adams County. The (4) officers will be sworn in by Chief Cochran at the June 14th Craig City Council meeting. Afterwards, all recruits will begin the twelve (12) week field training program where they will get real life experience policing in our community.

The two Officers who graduated from CMC are Hannah Wood and Kelsey Morford. Wood has worked for some time with the City of Craig as a Community Service Officer and Morford has experience as a Detention Deputy with Moffat County. Both will make fine additions to the Craig Police Department!

Please help us welcome the first 2 of 4 new Officers to the Craig Police Department. CONGRADULATIONS to you both!
