On September 16th, 2026, at approximately 12:13 pm, the Craig Police Department responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a disturbance near the 400 block of Lincoln Street. Callers described a male party being "jumped and stabbed".

Upon arrival, officers located a Hispanic male, suffering from a laceration to the neck area.

Following an investigation, the suspect was identified as 21-year-old Kashon Harrison, who was located at 601 E 4th Street, #11. Harrison was taken into custody and charged with 1st degree assault, in accordance with C.R.S 18-3-202.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
