On 04/03/2002 At approximately 1:00pm, Officer(s) with the Craig Police Department, Deputies with the Moffat County Sheriff's Office, and Craig Fire Rescue were called to the sand rocks for a stranded K9. The K9 was about half way down and unable to go up or down. It is unclear how long the K9 had been there. After much work, the K9 was rescued unharmed and returned to its owner.
