Don't forget your leash!

With the great weather this week we are seeing many of you enjoying time outside with your pets. Please keep dogs leashed while enjoying the many parks and trails the city has to offer. There have been an increased number of calls for service involving dogs off leash, specifically in and on our parks, trails, and along the High Line Canal.

As a reminder - the City of Cherry Hills Village has leash laws (Municipal Code Sections 7-5-330 and 11-3-130) prohibiting dogs from running at large. Our officers will be actively patrolling the City’s parks and trails enforcing city ordinances.
