The purpose of the Code Enforcement Division is to promote, protect and improve the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the City of Cherry Hills Village through an effective, proactive code enforcement program.
The Division is responsible for the enforcement of the various requirements outlined in the Municipal Code, including the identification and enforcement of code regarding nuisances within the City including, but not limited to:
The Division is also responsible for monitoring construction sites throughout the community to ensure compliance with all related construction standards outlined in the City Code. This includes hours of construction, site maintenance, and construction staging plan compliance.
Complaints on construction hours violations should be directed to a Code Enforcement Officer, or via the Code Enforcement Hotline at 303-783-2752. Complaints can also be registered with the Police by calling the department at 303-761-8711, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or the Arapahoe County Communications Center at 303-795-4711 during non-business hours.
