While on routine patrol, an officer located a backpack in the middle of the road.  Personal belongings and electronics were in the bag, and the owners address was located.  Contact was made with the residents, they indicated the items were stored in their vehicle and were unaware of the items being gone.  Upon inspection of the vehicle, the unlocked doors had been opened and other items were missing.
