A resident received a phone call from a male subject identifying themselves as an officer with the Denver Sheriff's Office about missing jury duty.  The resident was informed they had a civil judgement against them and an active warrant for their arrest.  In order release the judgement and warrant, the resident needed to send approximately $9000 to various accounts of the caller.  Due to the nature of the accounts, the victim was unable to recover any of the funds.
