King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair will close New Galena Road in New Britain Township, Bucks County, beginning on Monday, September 7.

Weather permitting, drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Monday, September 7, through Friday, September 25, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, New Galena Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) and Callowhill Road. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 152 (Limekiln Pike/Hilltown Pike/Baringer Avenue), Hilltown Pike, and Callowhill Road.

Local access (residents, businesses and schools within the work zone) will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour route because backups and delays may occur.

TRUCKS ARE ADVISED TO FOLLOW THE PENNDOT DETOURS AND NOT USE CREEK ROAD (LOCAL - TRUCK RESTRICTED)
