On May 21st, 2026, at approximately 4:20 pm, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department patrol officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision in the first block of E Newport Road, Warwick Township, PA.  Officers arrived on scene and identified the drivers and vehicles involved in the accident.  Preliminary findings indicate that a Chevrolet Equinox, being driven by an 88-year-old resident of Lititz, PA, was exiting the shopping center located at Copperfield Circle onto E Newport Road.  The second vehicle was a Toyota Corolla operated by an 18-year-old resident of Lititz, PA, and was traveling eastbound on E. Newport Road when her vehicle struck the Equinox.   The collision is under further investigation. NLCRPD was assisted by the Northwest Crash Team, Lititz Fire Company, Warwick Community Ambulance, and the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office.
