On the evening of March 7, 2026, at approximately 10:46 pm, the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 100 block of Sunflower Drive, Clay Township, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, officers encountered a victim with visible signs of injury. The investigation revealed that Rory Evan Oatman, a 33-year-old Ephrata resident, allegedly inflicted the harm. Furthermore, it was reported that Oatman made threats against the victim's life and strangled her multiple times. As a result, officers charged Oatman with strangulation, terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment. The charges will be heard before Magisterial District Judge Landis.
