On November 12, 2025, the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Human Trafficking Task Force conducted Operation Impact Demand (XIII) in coordination with the Silver Spring Township Police Department, and Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
District Attorney Seán M. McCormack stated after the operation, “This was our 13th Impact Demand operation since we formed the Human Trafficking Task Force in 2022. As of this most recent operation, Impact Demand XIII, we have arrested a total of 126 individuals seeking pay for sexual favors. The money individuals spend on prostitution related activities is the money that fuels human trafficking in Cumberland County. Our message is clear – if you plan to commit this crime, do not come into Cumberland County. If you do, you may be the next person caught during Operation Impact Demand.”
District Attorney McCormack expressed his thanks to the agencies who helped make Wednesday’s operation successful.
It is alleged the following individuals sought to engage female escorts in sexual activity for money at a Silver Spring Township hotel. These defendants will be required to appear at District Court 09-3-04 for a preliminary hearing.
