The York City Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of 400 Blk W. Princes St on August 24^th, 2026, at approximately 2209hrs.

During the incident, shots were fired from the street, and one person was struck by gunfire while inside their residence. The victim was transported for medical treatment and is currently in good condition.

Detectives are actively investigating the incident and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting, observed suspicious activity, or has video surveillance from the area to contact the York City Police Department.
