STOP!! DO NOT send any money via Bitcoin, Cash app or PayPal!! This is a reminder to NEVER deposit any money into the bitcoin ATM as it may be a scam. Do not believe anyone who says you need to use Bitcoin ATM to protect your money or fix a problem.

If you think there is a real problem with any of your accounts, personally visit / contact your bank, investment, or retirement company. Do not use contact information during the unexpected call or message you received.

**Common Red Flags Highlighted:

*URGENCY: Scammers create a sense of panic to force quick, irrational decisions.

*IMPOSSIBLE RETURNS: Promises of 20-50% returns with "zero risk"

*PAYMENT TYPE: Demands for payment via Bitcoin ATMs, wire transfers, or gift cards.

*UNSOLICITED CONTACT: Messages from strangers on social media or messaging apps like WhatsApp/Telegram.  

**COMMON GIFT CARD SCAMS:
*IMPERSONATION OF AUTHORITY: Scammers pose as Law Enforcement / Government Officials, FBI, IRS, Tech support (Apple Microsoft), utility companies threatening arrest or utility disconnection unless an immediate payment is made via gift cards.

*PRIZE / SWEEPSTAKES SCAMS: Victims are told they have won a prize, but they must pay fees or taxes using gift cards.    

****REMEMBER....NO REAL GOVERNMENT AGENCY OR BUSINESS WILL EVER TELL YOU TO PURCHASE GIFT CARDS TO PAY THEM!!!
