The Palmer Township Police Department is urging all residents to LOCK and SECURE THEIR VEHICLE DOORS AT ALL TIMES! This past weekend Officers responded to multiple reports of thefts from UNLOCKED VEHICLES during the overnight hours. Leaving your vehicle unlocked especially with items in plain view, makes it easier for the thieves. This is another reminder to remove your items, including garage door openers and LOCK YOUR VEHICLE. Leaving your vehicle unlocked and placing items in the glove box or center console is not secure.  

Please report any suspicious activity immediately to the Police at 610-759-2200 if you witness anybody or small groups walking up driveways, properties pulling on door handles or looking into vehicles. Please remember to: Lock all doors, Remove valuables, Hide what you can't take in the trunk area, Remove your keys / key fob, garage door openers and park in a well lit area.
