Scam/Fraud Alert

            The Easton Police want to remind the public that at no time will law enforcement solicit cash, gift cards or any type of cryptocurrency transaction for fines, warrants or other police related issues.  Police have seen an uptick in this type of scam that is occurring after victims are receiving cellphone calls claiming to be some sort of law enforcement agency soliciting these items.  Police would recommend anybody receiving these calls to contact their local police jurisdiction prior to turning over any funds or property to these callers.
