On November 7, 2025, at approximately 8:20 a.m. a Bushkill Township police officer was on patrol and determined the registration plate displayed did not match the vehicle it was on. A traffic stop was conducted and through investigation it was determined that Eric J. Farnack removed the ignition interlock device required to operate the vehicle. Farnack was charged via criminal complaint with two counts of Illegally Operating a Motor Vehicle not Equipped with Ignition Interlock/Tampering with an Ignition Interlock System, and Fraudulent Use or Removal of Registration Plate.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
