In 2026, officers can expect to earn between $94,227 and $120,637, depending on prior law enforcement experience, with additional pay incentives based on their level of education.

Candidates must be currently certified as a PA Municipal Police Officer and must pass interview phases, a background check, including polygraphs, medical, drug, and psychological exams.
