As was previously released, the Lower Moreland Police Department received a report of an assault that occurred on Red Lion Road across from Valley Center Park. The victim is a juvenile who was walking after school at approximately 4:30 pm on February 2nd, 2022. The assault is reported to have happened on Red Lion Road across from the driveway of Valley Center Park. The victim believes that the offenders were also juveniles. The victim sustained a minor injury and stated a racial epithet was used when he was assaulted.

Since receiving this report SRO/Detective Brommer has led the investigation. LMPD has reviewed over 35 hours of surveillance video, completed numerous interviews and met with the victim and family numerous times. Multiple leads were followed up on, and unfortunately have not led to the identification of any suspects at this time. 

In addition, LMPD has had increased marked and unmarked patrols in the area during this timeframe to ensure the safety of all students in this area.

This is an ongoing investigation and the Lower Moreland Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance to identify those involved in this incident. If anyone has any information related to this incident or observed this assault occur, please contact LMPD immediately.
