LANSDALE BOROUGH- The Lansdale Borough Police Department is proud to announce its participation in the 5th Annual Magellan Food Drive, taking place from May 4 through June 12. This marks the first year the department will serve as a collection site for this important community initiative.

Donations collected at the police station will directly support local individuals and families in need within our community. Contributions will benefit organizations working to address food insecurity and provide essential resources to those facing hardship.

Residents are encouraged to stop by the station during the collection period and contribute non-perishable food items and essential household goods. Collection bins will be available throughout the duration of the drive.

Most-needed items include:

• Non-perishable food items such as cereal, pasta, canned goods, and peanut butter
• Boxed beverages including juice and milk (dairy and non-dairy)
• Personal hygiene items and cleaning supplies
• Diapers (sizes 5–7) and pull-up training pants
• Pet food

Important reminders:

• Please check all expiration dates prior to donating
• Homemade items cannot be accepted

This initiative also supports the Montgomery County Anti-Hunger Network (MAHN), which helps provide nutritious food to more than 75 food pantries and meal providers throughout Montgomery County.
