LANSDALE BOROUGH- LPD officers serve all members of our community—including the four-legged and very adorable ones!
Last night, Sgt. Erbele, Officers Ruel and Harney responded to a residence after three raccoon kits became trapped inside a chimney. Upon arrival, the officers worked carefully to safely remove the young animals without injury.
Thanks to their quick response and teamwork, all three raccoons were successfully rescued and safely brought out of the structure.
Following the rescue, the raccoon kits were transferred to the Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to wildlife care and rehabilitation. Donations and support information can be found on their website or click HERE for link to donation page.
Just another day of protecting all members of our community great and small.
