On November 22, 2025, at 4:10 p.m. the Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the Weis Market in East Stroudsburg for a report of a retail theft.  Upon arrival the loss prevention officer related that a white male and female stole a total of $85.71 worth of merchandise.  The suspects were identified as Averi Albanese and Billie J. Robinson.  Albanese loaded a basket with $52.22 worth of merchandise and left the store without paying for the items.  A records check found that he had one prior conviction for retail theft.

Charges were filed and an arrest warrant was issued for Averi John Albanese.
