On June 17, 2026, at 2:49 p.m., the Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the ShopRite in the Stroud Mall in Stroud Township for a report of a retail theft.  Upon arrival loss prevention was reporting that a male identified as Gerard Allan Mollica was in the store on 3/19/2026, 06/08/2026, and 06/15/2026 selecting items from throughout the store and placed them in a shopping cart.  Mollica then exited the store without paying for a total of $868.46 worth of merchandise.  All incidents were captured on video.  Incident # 2026-014887.

Charges were filed and a felony arrest warrant was issued for Gerard Allan Mollica.

On June 23, 2026, at 10:19 a.m. the Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the Lowe's in Stroud Township for a report of a retail theft that occurred on April 11, 2026, at 12:01 p.m.  During this incident Gerard Mollica was observed on video being dropped off by a grey Jeep.  Mollica then entered the store with an empty shopping cart.  He proceeded to go through the store selecting a countertop microwave, paper towels and Tide pods.  Mollica then removed a shopping bag from the checkout terminal and exited the store without paying for $255.96 worth of merchandise.  Mollica entered the Jeep and left the property.  All incidents were captured on video.  Incident # 2026-015545.

Charges were filed and a second felony arrest warrant was issued for Gerard Allan Mollica.

On June 23, 2026, at 10:29 a.m., the Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the Lowe's in Stroud Township for a report of a retail theft that occurred on June 17, 2026, at 10:29 a.m.  During this incident Gerard Mollica was observed on video being dropped off in the parking lot and entered the store through the main entrance with an empty shopping cart.  Mollica was observed selecting drinks, and chips placing them in his cart.  Mollica then proceeds to select a pressure washer, paper towels and a Craftsman chainsaw and place them in his cart.  Mollica then left the store through the garden center without paying for $624.89 worth of merchandise.  All incidents were captured on video.  Incident # 2026-015455.

Charges were filed and a third felony arrest warrant was issued for Gerard Allan Mollica.

Mollica has multiple prior convictions for retail theft in PA.  He also has other outstanding warrants from Pocono Mountain Regional Police and is a parole absconder from the PA Department of Parole and Probation.
