In 1962, President John F. Kennedy founded National Police Week, which is celebrated annually in May to acknowledge the dedication and bravery of law enforcement officers nationwide.

This special week is an opportunity to pay tribute to the officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their communities, as well as to recognize the tireless efforts of those who continue to serve with honor, integrity, and empathy.

Beneath every badge lies a deep commitment to public service, marked by long hours, difficult choices, and a willingness to respond to those in need during their most challenging moments.
