The Dallas Township Police Department is grateful to Tiger Scout Pack 106 for inviting Officer Zielinski to speak with scouts about essential safety topics.
During the visit, the scouts learned valuable lessons on how to handle unsafe situations using the "Shout, Run, Tell" approach, what to do if they become lost or separated from their parents, and when to call 911. They also learned how to use emergency contacts and were encouraged to ask questions throughout the discussion.
The presentation covered important topics such as when to contact law enforcement, what to expect during interactions with an officer, and general safety tips. The goal of this outreach effort is to empower our youth with the knowledge and confidence to stay safe in their daily lives.
We appreciate opportunities like this to connect with our community and support safety education for our young residents. By working together, we can build a safer and more informed community for everyone.
