After 6 LONG months at the Reading Police Academy, Officer Erin Godfrey had her ceremonial swearing in at the Board of Supervisors meeting on 13 July (she was officially sworn in 2 weeks earlier). MDJ Benner swore in Godfrey in front of friends and family. Officer Godfrey went to school in Lancaster County before serving 4 years in the USMC. Her husband, Seth (also a Marine and currently a police officer with Manheim Township PD), had the honor of pinning Erin’s badge on her. Talk about a “power couple”!!
