West Lampeter Township Police Department is participating in the 2026 Bleed Blue Challenge that will take place from January 2nd through February 27th

During the 2025 challenge, 736 blood donors presented to donate blood in support of their local police departments. This friendly competition provides life-saving treatment to members of our Lancaster County community. The LGH Blood Donor Center collects blood products to support patients at the Lancaster General Hospital, Women & Babies Hospital and the Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute. 

Blood donors are encouraged to donate blood at the Suburban Pavilion- Blood Donor Center or at a local blood drive event during January and February to support the 2026 Bleed Blue Challenge. Included among the many blood drive events is a local blood drive event on Wednesday February 4th from 2pm-7pm at Ascension Lutheran Church 600 Penn Grant Road in West Lampeter Township.
