DUI-19 July 2026 at 2:37AM - Kyle J. MCCOMSEY M/29 of Willow Street, PA is accused of the above crimes. On or about the listed time and date, a West Lampeter Township police officer was conducting proactive patrol in the 1000 Blk. of Willow Street Pike. At this time, he observed a silver Honda traveling southbound with an expired registration plate. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle, and the driver was identified as the accused, Kyle J. MCCOMSEY. During the stop the officer noticed signs of impairment and the driver admitted to drinking before driving. Further roadside investigation was conducted and MCCOMSEY was taken into custody for DUI and transported to the West Lampeter Township Police Department where he consented to a chemical test of breath. This test showed that MCCOMSEY had a BAC of .177%. MCCOMSEY was booked and charged with the above offenses and the registration violation before MDJ Benner. He is awaiting his preliminary hearing.

 

The accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
