DUI-2 August 2026 at 10:14PM - Eddy A. FRIAS-SURIEL M/47 of Lancaster, PA is accused of the above crimes. On or about listed time and date West Lampeter Township police were dispatched to the area of Waters Edge Dr. and Willow Street Pike for a resident who was reporting a suspicious vehicle and subject that was parked in front of their residence and unknown to them. Officers responded and located a blue Chevrolet parked in front of the residence. The accused, Eddy A. FRIAS-SURIEL, was asleep behind the wheel and officers noticed a strong smell of an alcoholic beverage coming from the interior of the vehicle and an open bottle of liquor that had spilled inside the vehicle. FRIAS-SURIEL showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. After further roadside investigation was conducted FRIAS-SURIEL was arrested for DUI and consented to a chemical test of breath which showed that his BAC was .225%. FRIAS-SURIEL was booked and charged with the above offenses before MDJ Benner. He is awaiting his preliminary hearing.

 

The accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
