West Earl Township Police Department wants to advise our residents to be cautious regarding scam phone calls alleging to be from PP&L.

Residents may receive phones calls from scammers claiming to shut off their electric due to missed payments. Residents may also receive phone calls stating their 3rd party supplier overcharged their account and a refund will be sent out, along with a percentage discount on your next bill.

PP&L was contacted, they advised that they are receiving numerous calls about these scams. PP&L is collecting information about the scam phone calls.
